Ready to Stare: Sparkle into Spring Plus Size Fashion with Dia & Co.

Spring in the Midwest is anything but predictable so I like to have a few staples on deck that I can wear whether it's a little chilly or on the warmer side. It's even better when the perfect items arrive at your doorstep without you even having to pick them out. This entire outfit is full of Spring-ready glitz and glam and it's all thanks to plus size styling service Dia&Co

Dia&Co. is a company that is really working to change the plus size shopping experience. When you sign up for the plus size styling service, you fill out a survey that helps their stylists pick out custom items for you. The process is super easy and I am a big fan. I was so honored to partner with Dia&Co. a few months back with Ramona in honor of Galentine's Day for a Facebook live. I'll include a link to check that out at the end of this post. BUT first, let's talk about this look!

Plus Size Winter Fashion with Gwynnie Bee

Winter can be such a challenging time for fashion depending on where you live. Here in the Midwest, plus size winter fashion means snow boots one day and sandals the next. A cape is a great transitional winter item so you're prepared for whatever the weather may hold.

As y'all already know, I am a huge fan of plus size styling service Gwynnie Bee because I get to try out so many different styles like this Alfani Camel Cape. I have loved the plus size winter cape trend but because I am on the petite size, I wasn't sure if the length would work for me and that's why trying it out through Gwynnie Bee first was so clutch.

Plus Size Coats: Self Love Will Keep You Warm

Plus Size Winter Coat

Every year when winter rolls around, I bemoan the idea that I will have to be covering up an otherwise cute outfit with a plus size winter coat. As I continue on my self love journey, I work on making a more conscious effort to see challenges as opportunities. Since I have vowed to take a more positive look on things I would normally complain about in the past, I decided that winter coming simply presented me with the opportunity to fill my closet with cute coats.

As I searched online and in stores for coats, I looked for comfort, style and a good fit. Some coats already in my closet meet the style requirement but one in particular that I love aesthetically no longer has working front buttons. This has made wearing that coat in the winter somewhat pointless. But I remained hopeful and when I discovered the grey tweed coat from On The Plus Side, I had finally found one coat that I was all too happy to add to my closet.
