For my birthday trip to San Diego, I brought along a few casual looks from Black-Owned Business
: HGC Apparel Co. As I mentioned in my #BloggersForBlackLives
post earlier this year, I am going to work on making a more conscious effort to rock more apparel from Black Owned Businesses and when it comes to making a fashion statement and social change at the same time, HGC Apparel Co
. is one of the best!
I love HGC Apparel tees and sweatshirts not only because of the designs but also because of the quality and fit. I wear the HGC Apparel Co. "Support Black Owned Business" tee
all the time and it is soooo soft. The brand is plus-size friendly with most women's tees available to 2XL and unisex tees and sweatshirts up to the same size.
Y'all already know that Living Single is one of my favorite 90s shows so I wore the HGC Apparel Co Living Single Cast & Crew
grey women's sweatshirt. I paired it with polka shorts because it was beautiful weather in San Diego and I just don't when I will get to wear shorts again here in Ohio.
We flew out of LA so we spent the last day of our trip running around Los Angeles. The HGC Apparel Just Be Yourself
fitted tee definitely had a lot of people stopping me and asking what it said or simply offering a nod of approval. I paired it with a Torrid plaid skater skirt
and buckled booties
