On the heels of my recent post about sexual assault and the objectification of women, I couldn't think of a more appropriate edition of #StareStyle.

This "I'm Fukin Feminist" t-shirt is from the brand, Woman's Touch Apparel. The Phoenix-based brand is owned by entrepreneurial powerhouse Jenesis Laforcarde. I first met Jenesis when I had a booth at Pool Tradeshow during Magic Market Week in February 2014. Jenesis came through like a breath of fresh feminist air and when she said she would love to pair some of my jewelry with her line,  I was down.

A few months later, Jenesis used Ready to Stare body chains, necklaces and earrings not only during the Brave Wings Fashion Show, but also during her lookbook for Phoenix Fashion Week.

Woman's Touch Apparel is very much an in-your-face feminist brand with a similar brand mission to Ready to Stare: use fashion as a means to empower women. After yesterday, I am inspired more than ever to empower women to stand up against objectification and systematic oppression.

So often, I see women making dope statement tees that I would love to wear and support but they are not available in plus size. Woman's Touch Apparel is all cut and sewn right in Phoenix which means that you can order any size custom which is exactly what I did with this tee!

I paired this tee with the gold chain headpiece from Ready to Stare -- my version of a crown. I finished this look with thigh highs from Kix'ies and old boots from Dots (RIP). The lipstick is Black Velvet from Lime Crime.
